DESCRIPTION:Yakima Basin Fish and Wildlife Recovery Board Member Meeting – May 21\, 2025\nWe’ll start the meeting with an 11:30 walking tour around the Wildhorse Windfarm where we can talk about the sage steppe\, energy issues and more. After lunch at 12:30\, we’ll have a panel and dive into shrub steppe management issues in Central Washignotn with Mike Livingston of WDFW\, Jay Kehne from Conservation NW and Tip Hudson of WSU Extension. We’ll talk about energy development\, fire\, rare species management\, and more\, so bring your questions! The business meeting of the Board of Directors will run from 2-4 pm and focus on work plan and budget development for FY26-27.
