The Yakima Steelhead Recovery Plan and the Yakima Bull Trout Action Plan identify a broad range of actions needed to recover these species. Chapter 5 of the Yakima Steelhead Recovery Plan is an implementation schedule that identifies priority actions for steelhead recovery. We are now developing a Detailed Implementation Schedule that provides details on priority projects, shows what recovery plan actions they address, and identifies likely funding sources and sponsors.

This improved implementation schedule will become an important tool for assuring that funds from the Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB) and other sources are effectively used to address the needs identified in the recovery plans. The Detailed Implementation Schedule will be a living document that is available on the web and is regularly updated to provide specific and up-to-date information on projects that are completed, underway and in planning. It will become our main tool for tracking and reporting our progress in implementing recovery plans.
