Join us this Wednesday for the Board of Directors meeting of the Yakima Basin Fish and Wildlife Recovery Board!

The Board of Directors of the Yakima Basin Fish and Wildlife Recovery Board will meet from 12 to 4 pm on Wednesday, November 19th. The meeting will be at the Board’s office in Yakima, with an option to join virtually using Zoom. The agenda, address and Zoom link can be found here.

We’ll start with a pizza lunch at 12 pm, and move into workshop presentations and discussions at ~12:30. Topics include:

1) Salmon Safe Certification programs for local government programs;

2) DNR Forest Fire Resilience Programs (presentations by Scott McFarland of DNR and Skippy Shaw of TNC), and

3) Permitting Streamlining (with Kaz Guillozet of the Bonneville Environmental Foundation).

The business meeting will run from 2 to 4 pm.
