Letters of Support will be provided to requests that align with our mission in the Yakima River Basin. We ask that letters to be signed by the Board chair on behalf of the Board of Directors must be submitted to us at least 7 workdays before a Board meeting and will be available within 4 workdays following the meeting (see the Board Meeting Schedule). Letters to be signed by the Executive Director will focus specifically on how the project implements actions already identified as priorities in approved Board plans; please request staff-signed letter seven days before you require the completed letter. YBFWRB may contact you for additional information. Please ensure your request submission provides ample detail of the project and how it aligns with YBFWRB mission.

What to include in your request:

  • The grant you are applying for;
  • Detail of project to be funded;
  • Describe how YBFWRB’s mission aligns with the project: Restore sustainable and harvestable populations of salmon, steelhead, bull trout and other at-risk fish and wildlife species through collaborative, economically sound efforts that bring together diverse resources to promote wise management of the Yakima River Basin.
