The Yakima Basin Fish and Wildlife Recovery Board is seeking to hire two positions:

Operations/Outreach Manager: We’re looking for a dynamic, digitally-savy and detail-oriented person who can work closely with the Executive Director to take charge of the day-to-day details of running our small non-profit organization and implement our online and in-person outreach program. Lead Entity Program Coordinator: This job offers the a chance to help our partners develop and fund exciting salmon restoration projects. Each year our lead entity program reviews and ranks proposals for habitat protection and restoration projects in the Yakima Basin and works with the state’s Salmon Recovery Funding Board to award $1 to $2 million in grants to the best of these projects. The Lead Entity Program Coordinator is in charge of running this grant review process and working with project sponsors to identify, develop and implement salmon recovery projects. You will organize and facilitate technical and citizens committee meetings, lead field tours, provide logistical and technical support to project sponsors, and work closely with local, state and federal partners to identify priority projects, help them secure funding and report on project implementation. This is a great opportunity to apply your organizational and people skills to making a robust and collaborative funding process work smoothly and to share and/or build your interest and knowledge of salmon recovery projects.
