At our Annual Meeting on August 5th, our Board of Directors approved the final ranked project lists recommended by our citizen committee for the 2026 SRFB regular, riparian, and targeted investments grant rounds! This concludes the local review of the projects. A big thank you to all of our project sponsors, TAG, CC, and Board of Directors for their hard work.
Next, our Lead Entity Coordinator, Cheyne Mayer, will present the lists to the Salmon Recovery Funding Board in Olympia on September 16th. We are submitting 9 projects for funding totaling ~$10.3M of investment in salmon recovery in our basin ($1.3M of which we are allocated, and $9M of which we have to compete for in a statewide grant pot). We look forward to the state approving our ranked lists and awarding funding—stay tuned!
